Portable Generators are Back In Season

As spring arrives, portable generators are back in demand to power campers, cabins and boats. This season we expect yamaha generators to make a run at gaining market share, as they have improved their model lineup drastically. They have made some very practical tweaks to existing generator models, and added a new model to their family, but still haven't been able to knock out the Honda EU2000i and the rest of the line of amazing honda generators. We have an interesting year upon us already!

Snow Blower Facts

Although generators go out of season around now, we thought we could let you all in on a little secret: you can ship snow blowers. There are quite a few dealers online that offer discounted snowblowers and if you ship it - you save sales tax. Although this isn't a great solution for everyone, it can be a decent option. It should not be too hard to save about $40 on your average single stage snow thrower. Do a search in msn.com for "snow blowers" and see for yourself !

Honda EU2000i Generator

The most popular model of the season is poised to be the young Honda EU2000i generator. This model weighs in at a light 46 lbs, and whispers along at only 52dB. With a full 1 gallon gas tank, this unit can easily run overnight keeping you cool and sound asleep in the middle of July. More seriously, this unit has a built in inverter chip providing very clean and consistant energy.

I had been sent testimonials from people suffering from sleep apnea stating that the EU2000 generator has made it possible for them to camp or just use their cabins again. You should definately ask your doctor first though, as I am not very familiar with this condition, and if it has levels of severity.

The Honda Generators have always been the leading brand of the market, and the technology available here is no exception. The inverter allows these models to provide a lot of power while being lightweight and quiet, and there is more. You can even run two of these units in parallel to get even more power - and they are self synchronizing. Two EU2000's can be combined to provide about 3000 Watts of power to a single source. That will definately run your air conditioner.

Note from our dealer friends, almost every fall, these units become unavailable, and because they are on allotment, no dealer can stock up on them. Don't wait until late summer to get yourself one of these Honda generators!
